Very comfortable hotel with good location in HCMC, nice clean rooms with good beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the WiFi was unstable and kept falling out, very frustrating, not adequate for a 4 star hotel, so I have to deduct a point for that. The breakfast was good but the bread was poor, bland and tasteless, there is much nicer bread available in Saigon than this so Eden Star Hotel should try changing the baker, deduct 0,5 points for that, so 3,5 out of 5

Overall the location of this hotel was great and the air conditioner in my room kept me cool for my entire week’s stay. The breakfast was fresh and I appreciated how many different options they offered each day for different cultural tastes. However, I booked this hotel because of the nice photos and because Expedia listed it as a 4-star property but it definitely was not. My room did not even have its own window and I had no view of the outside. When I asked for a room with a window like the photos showed, they told me I would have to pay even more, which was a real disappointment after traveling for 24hrs and arriving to find out I was essentially blindsided for the entire week. The pool was nice but I just wish it truly matched the 4-star quality it claimed to have. The room also did not feel very clean and had more of a motel feel where dirt and grime slowly build up and start to show when things are not properly maintained. There also did not seem to be any designated quiet hours since the doors were not soundproof and the hallways echoed so much that you could hear everyone opening their doors and having loud conversations throughout the night.

Room was clean, albeit a bit small, staff were generally helpful sometimes slow. Food was pretty good. Enjoyed rooftop pool. Great location close to lots of great parts of HCMC

Staff and services were great. Staff were attentive, caring, and professional. The dinner buffet was amazing. The Chinese restaurant was great and food was delicious. The breakfast was so-so. The lobby looks great. Though, the overall aesthetic looks dated and certainly worn. Not at all like the photos on Expedia. The property has seen its days and needs major renovations for sure. Hallways are carpeted and smell and the added spray fragrance makes it worst. Grout in bathroom especially shower room were exposed and holes in various places. Improper white cocking used in some areas rather than complementary grout and color. The pool area looks old and dirty and quite small for the size of the property. The connected mall was nice and convenient. The non-internationally connected ATM machine was a major inconvenience during holidays and weekends with major banks being miles away, not walking distance. 100% satisfied with staff and services but was quite disappointed with the conditions of the property infrastructure and amenities.

Really nice hotel, nice room, lovely decor. Only 2 fatal flaws, which are that the rooms really need soundproofing, as you can hear absolutely everything, and the surrounding area of the hotel is awful.
