Sint Maarten Beach Vacations

Upon my arrival the pleasantries were above average. I was greeted by 2 young ladies at the front desk that got me checked in and explained to me where things were located on the property. During their introduction a nice young man named Nelson greeted me with a bottle of ice cold water and a cold towel due to the temperatures outside. He also took my luggage to my room and made sure I was familiar with the things in the room. My room was clean and very spacious. My bedding was changed every day and I had clean towels every day. I didn't have to ask for any special accommodations because everything was special and accommodating. They made father's day very special for all the dads with all the decorations and activites for Fathers Day. Yolanda the concierge helped me with outside excursions and transportation to the airport. The outdoor pool was exceptionally clean at all times. The resort grounds were kept clean. And the restaurant food was great! I had the jerk pork loin. This is a vacation I would take over and over again. I do not have anything to complain about. I would like to thank the entire staff for making this one of the most memorable vacations.

Very clean room. I had an issue with the door into initial room and they ended up moving me to an upgraded room with a beautiful ocean view. Staff were friendly, food and service was amazing, views were stunning. The are is very friendly for walking around and finding shops as well as easy access to the beach from the hotel. I will definitely come back.

I would highly recommend this resort. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. While the food on-site was a bit expensive, it was delicious. We chose to dine at local restaurants most evenings and enjoyed exploring the area. The only drawback was the lack of direct beach access from the back of the property. Guests need to take a short walk to a nearby public beach, which tended to be quite crowded on most days. Overall, however, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

I stayed in a swim-out suite at Sonesta Ocean Point for four nights with my boyfriend, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience.The swim-out suite was excellent, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The resort itself is beautiful, with a great location next to a charming town and a casino, making it easy to explore the area.As for the food, I would rate it as average overall, but Azul was the standout restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were not impressed with the Italian restaurant, although the rest of the dining options were decent for an all-inclusive resort. The drinks were very good throughout our stay.One of the biggest advantages of the resort is that it caters well to both couples and families. The adults-only side is peaceful, with dedicated adult pools, and children generally do not spend much time in that area.The beach is beautiful, but the pathway leading down to it has quite a few rocks that the hotel should clear to improve safety. Beach service doesn’t begin until around 8:30–9:00 a.m., so there’s no need to wake up extremely early for chairs. However, most chairs are taken by noon.We had only a couple of minor issues with our swim-out suite. The door had a larger gap at the bottom than expected, which allowed some hallway noise into the room. We also saw a cockroach come through the gap near the door, although it didn’t get far. I think the hotel could improve the room doors by sealing those gaps better. I would come again!

The staff and room were excellent. The daily breakfast was wonderful. The BEST croissants anywhere!! It was nice to have the guest laundry; the appliances need to be updated though. The only thing we can think of is a propane bbq(s) would be very much appreciated. Charcoal takes much too long to wait be fire you can cook your meal. Thank you PH for a fantastic stay.
