Fantastic stay. Beautiful modern and spacious rooms. Excellent service and outstanding breakfast buffet. Largest I’ve seen at a hotel with many options. Have a late breakfast and skip lunch. Nice outdoor pool.

態度服務都不錯，可惜必須十一點退房，設施較為老舊 浴室蓮蓬頭和電話都已泛黃，可以看出當年的豪華與風光. 地點不錯很方便 靠近市政府.

A nice hotel, but don't expect to eat there if you have any food allergies, especially nut allergies. Lack of awareness and any accomodation was evident. Hotel facilities are otherwise nice, sauna pool and main entrance.

The gym is tiny, and getting there is unnecessarily complicated — take the elevator from the 6th floor down to the 5th, only to find a gym you’d expect in a budget hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Papa Whale. Having a variety of coffee down stairs is a life saver. Moreover, daily Taiwanese tea eggs is a treat. The staff is nice, the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The AC is powerful to fight against the hot summer weather. I highly recommend getting Taiwanese Mon Tou bread from across the street. Thank you, Papa Whale staff.
