California Desert Beach Vacations

I arrived in the evening to find the front desk on lunch. So I waited until 8:42pm for the break to end so I could check in. I used my Expedia points for a last minute booking and only needed a place to sleep. I checked out 12 hours later. The queen size was incredibly small- good thing it was just me. Be aware that there is construction happening directly outside the hotel on S. Reeves so if you are planning on parking your car it will be extra inconvenient. The noise was loud as to be expected which could explain the incredibly low rate. The Sirtaj is the perfect place to go if you need a no fuss and very stripped down place to crash in Beverly Hills in a great location. I do think my days returning here are numbered but the convenience and low price is hard to beat. It would be helpful if they offered virtual check in for returning guests as they are such a small hotel there’s normally only one person working at the front desk at any given time. They should consider that amenity as there are so few offerings.

A fantastic return for a San Francisco icon We recently stayed for three nights at the newly reopened Huntington Hotel on Nob Hill, and we’re delighted to say it has been well worth the wait. The rooms are beautifully appointed, combining comfort with understated luxury, and the gym is one of the best hotel fitness facilities we’ve used. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, with exceptional service throughout our stay. A special thank you to the Head Concierge and the reception team, who were friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is superb. Perched on Nob Hill, it’s perfectly placed for exploring San Francisco while providing a peaceful retreat away from the busier tourist areas. Our only disappointment was breakfast for children in the on-site restaurant. The options felt quite limited, with no cereal available and the menu generally not appearing to have been designed with younger guests in mind. It’s a small point, but one that could make a big difference for families. That aside, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It’s wonderful to see this Nob Hill institution back where it belongs, and we wish the entire team every success. In our opinion, this is now the best hotel in San Francisco, and we look forward to returning.

Nice room but several issues: no TV remote; conditioner dispenser in shower didn't work, antiquated elevators, food at bar was mediocre, and lobby cold and drafty. On the plus side excellent number and placement of outlets for cords etc. in the room. Probably will not stay again, this was my third time.

We loved how friendly all the employees were. Such a well kept beautiful property. We would love to return!
