Amazing stay

The staff is beyond friendly. That’s the first thing we look for in a hotel experience and Hotel Bonaparte excelled. I messaged several times before our arrival about concerns and the responded immediately. The hotel is both friendly and special. Loved it!

Overall, it was a fantastic stay, the heat worked great as it got chilly at night during our visit. Clean, the kitchen had everything you’d need, reasonable amount of space. Neighborhood was PERFECT. 10 mins to old Montreal or Chinatown, 15 mins to port, etc, right in the mix, subway downstairs, etc. I really want this place to succeed, so I gave 5 stars, but for my fellow travelers, I have some potential deal breaker cons. Potential Cons: #1 - I had one of the more affordable units, so our view was terrible, windows facing the inner part of the building and seeing other people’s rooms. So level up if you’d like a view. #2 - The 2nd bedroom had a loud humming sound, it drove me nuts, so not sure if it’s just the cheaper room or just like that since the buildings here are old, but because of this noise, I probably won’t be back again. #3 - Parking, nearby parking lot was close enough, about a half a block walk, but its levels 9 - 12 underground! So add about 15 mins to your prep time as it takes about that long to walk from the car to the room.
