Hotel Ilissos was one of the most welcoming places in downtown Athens!!! They cared for me like family. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with many options, fresh international cuisine, clean facilities and rooms with incredible views of the acropolis! They helped me find my way with walking, directions the bus and Subway and how to live like a local, even though I was a tourist. I’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast is amazing! The staff are very pleasant and attentive throughout the Hotel. We had some issues with our room, the safe wouldnt lock and needed to be repaired, our room door would not close properly and i actually broke the handle off trying to close it. Thus is a ery new hotel so they are still ironing things out but overall it was excellent including the staff.

Room 502 window facing alley was noisy at night. Need better soundproofing. Rooms good but could use some updating. Concierge service excellent with restaurant recommendations. Rooftop view during buffet breakfast is fantastic but food needs improvement. Location is excellent for shopping, restaurants and only 20 min walk to Acropolis.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Athens. From the moment of our arrival, Dimi greeted us warmly and was a wealth of information on the area and recommended sights. He was genuinely interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible, concerned with our transfers to and from the port/ airport. He is a wonderful first impression for the Pinnacle Hotel as are the other front desk staff. The location is excellent, we walked to the Plaka area to shop, drink coffee/eat, strolled through the fish and meat market. We did a hop on, hop off bus to get an overview of the city, went to the Parthenon. Everything was a walkable distance. We had 2 delicious dinners on the rooftop patio overlooking the Parthenon. Thank you to our lovely, smiling server Evie for taking such good care of us! Breakfast was a delicious, pleasant surprise with lots of variety. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the sounds of the city and early morning church bells might not appeal to some, we found it all charming capturing the essence of the city. Most enjoyable stay. Hope we can return one day! Many thanks to all!

Excellent staff. Friendly, helpful, attentive, pleasant. Love the location, close to Acropolis museum, Acropolis, great dinning & night life, Breakfast was delicious, lots of selection. Overall, above and beyond our expectation. Highly recommended!

We loved the view from the hotel dining room, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the wifi was down and our television was not working. The view from the rooms was not pleasant but we could have overlooked this if the television and internet were working. The breakfast at the hotel was incredible.
