The hotel is clean and esthetically apealing. The bed was bery comfortable, bathroom is beautiful amd comfortable. Location is fantastic; it always felt safe, it is adjacent to Carnegie Hall and in short walking diatance to MOMA, Central Park, 5th Av., etc. There's always a cab at tbe entrance and we used Uber allot never waiting more than a couple of min.,
The restaurant is decent - the food is tasty and the coffee is good, but the menue is rather short on options. Still my vegan wife was able to find dishes that worked for her. There are planty of good dining options in a short walking distance around the hotel and of course in a short ride distance too. To sum it up, it was a good stay for us and we'll come again on our next visit.

The hotel was phenomenal! We were greeting so warmly on arrival and given great dining and neighborhood tips by Ben- who was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and all aspects of the hotel and dining/ bar spaces were gorgeous and full of character. We enjoyed The Portrait Bar a couple of times and had such fun. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and a spectacular dinner at Cafe Carmellini. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was top notch.
I will go back to The Fifth Avenue Hotel. It was a wonderful experience.

We where there for 8 nights. Couldn't unpack our suitcases. 6 very small drawers 3 in the closet and 3 in a dresser. Small refrigerator held 4 water bottles. 6 hangers in closet. Just a horrible stay never again.
