The internet was adequately fast, the staff was very helpful, the location perfect - and the bedsheets were wonderful. The one silly personal complain we had would be the quality of the coffee provided in the room. Do not expect it to be good. Instead, go down to reception and ask to use the espresso machine. And while you are sipping the espresso - or if you cannot sleep - checkout the amazing design books available to browse at the reception area. We skipped breakfast, totally forgot that was an option -and anyway, exciting food options await as soon as you walk out the front door.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, and it was truly unforgettable. We arrived on an early morning flight, traveling with a newly turned three-year-old, and Joy Drilon kindly arranged for us to access our room early so we could rest. That gesture alone meant so much to our family. On my daughter’s birthday, Joy went above and beyond. She prepared a beautiful birthday cake featuring my daughter’s favorite princess, Elsa, along with Elsa balloons, a lovely Shangri-La teddy bear Tony and Chef Sam, and even a framed family photo to commemorate the occasion. Every detail was thoughtful and heartfelt. Seeing the joy on my daughter’s face made the entire experience priceless. We are deeply grateful for the warmth, care, and genuine hospitality shown to our family. Thank you for making her 3rd birthday so magical and memorable. If you are traveling with children, I would highly recommend staying on the 45th floor at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. The experience felt especially thoughtful and family-friendly, making our daughter’s birthday celebration even more special.

We booked this hotel because it was recommended for families travelling with babies. When you arrive in the room, there is an amenities list on the tv that you can order things from for infants, like a cot, bottle steriliser, baby bath, etc., which was all very helpful. We had one of the one-bedroom rooms with a kitchenette and were a bit surprised to see it was missing its crockery but again you can just order it on the tv (presumably this saves unnecessary washing). The breakfasts were excellent. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly - and very welcoming of our infant at all times. The Causeway Bay area is very busy and perhaps more chaotic than other parts of the city, so worth bearing in mind, but you’re only minutes from MTR, buses, trams, etc at this hotel, so it’s very easy to move around the city. We ordered room service a few times and were impressed with the quality of food, although of course it is more expensive than what you would pay if eating out. Overall, I recommend the hotel for people travelling with infants.

excellent hotel. i did have some trouble finding public space to do computer work outside of my room.

I came to stay myself. Check in and check out process is seamless. Great space in my room. Wish it was closer to mtr exit though.
