Be ready to drift off to the sounds of the elevated BQE right outside your window. Then, in the morning when you wake up from the 10 minutes of sleep you managed, refrain from asking staff if coffee might be served anywhere. I got a mumble of something I understood as "no". It was 6:35am. And ladies, be sure to enjoy the crowded bar of dudes with knees properly wide spread chuckling and photographing their basic drinks for the 'gram using any number of hip filters and AI to elevate the experience. Was it the last room in New York? Yes. Was it a warehouse two months ago? Yes.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Hotels.com are wrong. This is a 2 star hotel.
I have stayed in better 2 star hotels but the location is great, it is safe, clean and staff are helpful. What it really needs is investment as it is tired. Broken window blinds and shower tiles need fixing. Given the outside noise some proper double glazing or triple glazing would help given the various work outside through the night.
Also do not believe the concierge’s ideas on how long it takes to get to the airport (google shows the facts) or that the LIRR service is broken every Friday so you must use the hotel car. 🙄 💵💵
