What a wonderful hotel in Vancouver. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the city.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. Vending was not great but there are lots of restaurants and shops within a quick walk.

The entire experience from walking in the front door of the property to being escorted up to my room was absolutely incredible! The entire facilities smelled beautiful, was exceptionally clean, and the staff made me feel like a special VIP! The breakfast at the café downstairs is very good. They are very fast and the location is very convenient. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to visit the bar or their upscale restaurant - I will save this for next time I visit! I highly recommend this hotel. If I could give more than five stars I would!

I loved the red accents in the rooms, very European boutique-ish feel and look. Can’t say I was crazy about the beds. The phones and the tvs were pretty outdated, but doable. Location was SPOT ON. Location downtown was accessible to everything, especially Canada Place. Small hotel but its smallness is what made it charming. Price point was right on the money, especially given how expensive Vancouver is in general. Never went to the bar so I can’t comment other than it looked small but nice. Did not visit the restaurant. Being a solo female traveler, eating alone in a formal, more refined setting was uncomfortable to me. The restaurant looked divine, though. As is the case most of the time, accommodations tend to lean more towards couple as opposed to solos. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Moda and would definitely go back again without hesitation.
