This is a very good hotel. I highly recommend it. It is very close to the train station and the airport. There is a very nice pool, hot tub, and sauna in the basement. The rooms are clean, large, excellent bathroom and bed, and fast WiFi. The restaurant has a big buffet breakfast, but does not serve lunch or dinner. However, there are several nice restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk.

I had been hiking and traveling and getting to this clean and modern hotel was such a godsend! The staff spoke English well. The universal outlets and modern lighting in the room were amazing. The breakfast was impressive and very delicious-- I liked the milk alternative for the coffee, the salad bar and the local jams. The area around the hotel is so new it's under construction but very quiet for sleeping. I arrived at 2 am because my flight was delayed and I was relieved there was someone working the front desk. The only thing was that my mini bar was not stocked: it would have been nice to have some selection. Huge comfortable bed with nice pillows! About a half hour walk to the modern shopping area by Tashkent City Park.

We had a wonderful family stay at JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent. The hotel is elegant, modern, and beautifully maintained, but the greatest highlight was the exceptional service. A special thank you to General Manager Ilkin Imanov for his personal attention and to Bekhruz for his warm welcome, professionalism, and genuine care throughout our stay. The team prepared a beautiful birthday surprise for our son Sami, including balloons and thoughtful touches that made the occasion truly memorable. Our room, breakfast, facilities, and overall experience exceeded expectations. This hotel delivers luxury through both its beautiful property and its people. Highly recommended, and we would be very happy to return

Service can be a little inconsistent, but most staff are very polite. We booked an apartment. It was clean, but the unit itself has a little age to it, and could do with some refreshment. No ironing board in the room. No cleaning cloth or washing detergent so you can't really cook anyway. The outdoor pool needed maintenance. The gym is very basic if you are used to big commercial gyms. They made us pay for two cups we "broke", but it was the vibration of the kettle that broke the cups. So be a little mindful if you are boiling the kettle. If the cups are stacked onto each other like a pyramid, take note to place them away from the kettle, even though the cups and kettles are already in position in a pre-cut wooden holder. They will still break. It's just 50,000 uzs but it just feels odd to charge us for something we didn't purposely break, and it was already stacked like this by the housekeeper. The hotel is away from the city centre and our travel plans were a little derailed when we tried to take a taxi on one of the days where the Samarkand Challenge was going on. The roads were blocked and we couldn't get to the city at all. Otherwise, it's still not too shabby or expensive to take a taxi back and forth.
