The hotel is starting to look tired whether it be carpet pulling up from the floor outside a lift to paint on the walls looking dull and old.
The rooms need a refresh and the squeaky bed was a signal of this.
On a positive the staff were friendly, the gym and pool are good.
The location is peaceful and you feel safe.

Nice boutique feel, with helpful staff, decent breakfast buffet across the street, and convenience mart and ATMs nearby. Close proximity to a Metro (subway) station, made accessing the rest of the city quick and easy. As a solo traveler, this hotel was an ideal fit.
