The stars and service question and rating are subtly skewed as the hotel itself the staff was phenomenal and top tier. However, the restaurant staff on property for Luciano by Gino D’Acampo was utterly horrendous, waited 45 minutes for water refills and only received because I got up to ask for them, not much was done at all about the issue other then restaurant management making excuse of being short staffed, but she couldn’t be bothered to check on us or anyone else knowing that? We received a 20% discount upon checkout and lodging a more formal complaint in the lobby. We had reservations for two months and made it our last meal in the UK and couldn’t had been more disappointed or let down. The hotel nice, their restaurants, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Amazing staff and service! Loved it! Rooms were specious and beautiful, lobby and restaurants were always filled with fresh flowers, so gorgeous! Thank you for the best stay in London!

Great facilities and value for money

A totally charming boutique hotel that made our stay in London feel as if we were the only guests in a gracious home. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, yet the standout features were the responsive staff and the lovely public areas (including the rooftop garden) in which we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. No. 30 Knightsbridge is a unique choice in a first-class neighborhood.

It is close to Paddington Station. There are many good restaurants and pubs in the area. But it was a bit noisy since we stayed on the first floor. Staff are friendly. Lots of room in the 2-bedroom apartment.

Service at breakfast was poor first 2 mornings of our stay. It improved third morning. This hotel doesn't provide a buffet breakfast and the options are very limited. No cereal,very limited choice of pastries no baskets of fresh fruits or hams or cheeses or e.g tomatoes. Although you are offered toast, this is a miserly portion and there is no bread or e.g danish pastries freely displayed. There was a greek yoghurt and fruit/muesli option which comprised watery looking tasteless yoghurt (don't know if it was fat free ) with strawberries which were also tasteless. Only some blueberries saved the dish. No real attempt is made to cater for gluten free diets.I was given a gluten free bagel instead of toast. No gf bread or cereals. There is a wait for a cooked english breakfast. Only the eggs appear cooked to order. Cold black pudding and overcooked bacon and sausage arrived with this. At least the plate was warm. It's as if this hotel is trying to penny pinch at every opportunity at breakfast. Making you ask for extra tea or toast when service is so slow makes you just decide not to bother. Even the table setting is sparse... No side plate or extra knife for eg butter or marmalade. We had to use the cutlery and cooked breakfast plate for toast and marmalade. For a hotel of this calibre it's a poor show. If you want a health smoothy this would be an extra £10 or so I believe. Otherwise the hotel is fine and well situated.

Small rooms but excellent customer service

I booked this last minute when another hotel booking fell through. All I knew was that I liked the area it was in and needed a place to sleep but I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice and cute it was. Highly recommend for solo travelers!
