Not a very good stay this time. They had the parking lot closed off, due to hot August nights. I called to talk to a manager, but it took an hour of waiting on the phone to ask about parking. I ended up having to wait an hour and a half in one parking lot, for someone to leave, just so I could park. Just don't go to the Nugget, when hot August nights is going on. They cater more to those people, than they do their hotel customers. Had I known it was going to be a mad house during this event, I would have stayed somewhere else.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and I was able to stay with my one small dog during a very busy event weekend (Hot August Nights). I liked that the unit had its own small kitchen and small appliances. Having the small in unit washer and dryer was extremely helpful. The location is exceptional right off South Virginia Street across from the Peppermill Casino. Within walking distance to casinos, shopping, restaurant choices, amenities. As the location is right downtown, S. Virginia Street is busy with foot traffic, I would recommend the extra on-site parking pass. It offers more of a secure parking option for your vehicle being right downtown. Check-in and instructions to check-in, were easy to follow and well laid out. I would stay again.
