Alright. So I have good things and I have bad things to say. The good things are that the view is beautiful. It was relatively close to things, but you still feel secluded. I talked to somebody named Sandy (customer service) about some issues upon checkout and she was AMAZING. The listing does not say anything about weight restriction for dogs, then after we booked and paid they told us that the weight restriction was no bigger than 25lbs. They were very nice and allowed us to take our medium sized dog anyway due to it not being clear in the listing. SOME NOT SO GREAT THINGS- The couch was dirty and had what looked like footprints on it, as well as food crumbs. I had blankets in my car that I ended up covering the couch with. The kitchen has a coffee machine, waffle maker, microwave, but no oven mitts, no sharp knives, no large pans for cooking in the oven, the stove top turns off and back on randomly if you are using an element, the kitchen table is SO STICKY. No matter how many times I tried to wipe it, our plates, napkins, my phone, etc all got stuck to the table. We were playing a card game and we ended up putting a towel down because it would have damaged the cards. There is a telescope, doesnt work. The dishwasher works, but is almost falling out of the counter. Huge stains on the carpet, which desperately needs replaced. Swinging chair on the porch doesnt even look like it would hold a toddler. There is no AC in the master bedroom, so when you get there, turn the fans on (they shake, but they didnt fall on us) and turn the AC on high to get air into the master bedroom. Speaking of the master bedroom, the bed frame feels like it is going to fall apart. I sat on it (185lb) and the entire thing shakes because its not sturdy. The shower faucet SCREAMS when you are showering. Also, using the keys was SUCH A STRUGGLE, I dont know if the house keys were new, or really old, but it took us a good 5 minutes and both hands to try and get the lock to turn. While this is a lot of information, it was over all a good vacation. We made it work, we had fun, and we even got engaged on this trip. The cabin just needs work, and just so you know, 4 wheel drive is required on the road getting to the cabin (its posted on the road, not on the description of the cabin) and you DEFINITELY NEED IT!!!
