Overall lovely,just a little tired.The lovely Chantelle worked hard for us. Need to communicate more clearly pre occupation with regards damage deposit.Could do with a hand rail by pool for us old folks.air con a life saver

Villa Strawberry Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Strawberry. The house itself, is an old stone farm house that has been redone so it has modern amenities but retains many original features. The pool and patio area were a nice place to relax for a few days of sunshine or for a glass of wine after a day exploring.

Okay, Not Stupendous

I will begin with the pros of the house: nice layout, clean, attractive Maltese style, good pool and patio area. Unfortunately, the owners sort of ruin the experience. There are warnings and rule placards everywhere warning about damage and what we will be fined for. I understand the temptation vrbo hosts may have to reduce damage or think of every possible bad situation, but this RUINS the vacation experience and does not lend a sense of hospitality or welcome. We felt as though the owners would rather we weren’t there, a “stay here but don’t touch anything” sort of attitude. I am a VRBO host and use none of these harsh practices. The owner also tried to get me to pay a cash deposit, either in hand or via a bank transfer. This is against VRBO policy. You have the right to refuse this and ask the owner to contact vrbo to handle a deposit, though your credit card. DO NOT give these people cash. You likely won’t see it again because they’ll try to blame you for damage and keep it. Be advised.

Very quite location. You can walk to groceries shops in 10 min and bus stops very close for nice water front restaurants in Marsaskala which is 10min on a bus.

Séjour agréable !

Jolie Villa typique des maisons de ferme Maltaise mieux que sur les photos avec un très beau jardin dans une série de villas en rangée. Nous avons passé d’agréables moment grâce à la piscine privée. Très paisible car nos voisins n’ont pas semblé utiliser leurs espaces extérieurs. Cependant, malgré les murs de pierre qui séparent les villa, la proximité des voisins si ils sont bruyants, pourrait gâcher vos vacances. Côté pratique: lave-vaisselle inefficace qui fuit à remplacer, absence de poignée extérieur sur la porte du jardin ce qui empêche de la fermer lorsque la clim fonctionne, pas de table pour déposer un verre près des transats et tuyau d’évacuation de l’eau du climatiseur qui se déverse partout sur la terrasse. De petits irritants auxquels le propriétaire pourrait facilement remédier.

Gute Basis zur Erkundung des Ostens Maltas

Ein sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermieterin, viele gute und hilfreiche Tipps. Ein ordentliches, sauberes und angemessen ausgestattetes Haus. Leider befindet sich das Haus direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, so dass ein ruhiger Schlaf zumindest in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer kaum möglich ist. Eine zusätzliche Gebühr für WLAN und die Kaution in bar ist auch in der heutigen Welt etwas erstaunlich. Ansonsten absolut in Ordnung. Sehr gute Anbindung an Valetta, Three Cities, sowie Dörfer und Buchten an der Ostküste.

Lovely villa

Stayed here as a family of 4 in October 2018. Exactly what we were looking for, private pool, bbq and proper chill out time. Owners were nice and helpful and even granted us a late check out on the last day. There are 2 shops near by which are well stocked for daily needs and even a pizza take away shop about 2 mins from the villa. The owners left us local taxi numbers in the info book which we used to go to the local towns (10 euros) and we had a few evening meals in town which were great. Kids made the most of having our own pool and overall it was a Great chill out holiday!

Sfeervolle woning

De woning is sfeervol maar de inrichting heeft niet de kwaliteit die ik verwacht bij de omschrijving "luxe villa". De kwaliteit van de bedden vonden wij matig (houten planken als bodem) die bovendien erg kraakten. De keuken is ruim, de inventaris is voldoende en van prima kwaliteit. Het zwembad was tijdens ons bezoek niet meer in de staat zoals op de foto. Aan een kant ontbraken alle randstenen. De eigenaren zijn wel erg behulpzaam. Josette: dank je wel voor het regelen van de taxi! Wij hadden de pech dat de naastgelegen woning (Blueberry) was gehuurd door erg luidruchtige mensen. Tot in de kleine uurtjes konden wij meegenieten van hun feestgedruis. Conclusie: een goede gastvrouw en gastheer, een sfeervolle woning maar er zijn ook wel wat minpuntjes.

Eccellente abitazione!!! Consigliatissima

Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Strawberry con amici. L'abitazione è una location perfetta per trascorrere una vacanza a Malta. La casa è molto bella, curata e con ogni comfort. La possibilità di godere della piscina privata, del barbecue e del giardino rende tutto perfetto La signora Josette è accogliente, carina e gentilissima. Prenotate senza esitazione!!!! Sarà tutto molto molto bello!!!!
