Horror hotel – ruined our holiday! The 2 Deluxe Studios we booked were nothing like the photos. Everything was old, dirty or broken, from walls and doors to furniture, beds and bathroom. Doors and windows didn’t close properly. Nasty smell in the rooms. Shower tray was broken. The kitchenette was not a kitchenette: no equipment, no sink in one studio, no wardrobe in the other, basics missing. The worktop was a rough, sharp, dangerous wooden plank. We had to ask for a kettle and got an old, dirty one we would not use. After complaining, we got renovated rooms. They were a bit better, but the beds were still extremely hard, with springs sticking into our backs. Windows and doors did not close properly and it was very noisy. During our two-week stay, we had mostly cold water or no water at all. We only had a warm shower a few times. Electricity and water went out for a full day several times. We could not flush the toilet and had to shower elsewhere. Our rooms were never cleaned during our 2 week stay! We had to collect toilet paper, towels and bed linen at reception. After repeatedly asking, an irritated cleaner came and only mopped the floor with cold water and bleach. The pool had no working filtration system and was dirty, with algae and insects. The hot tub was full of algae and often failed. The owner was barely reachable. Expedia tried to arrange another hotel, but the owner refused a refund and ignored their calls and emails. Don’t go to this ‘hotel’!
