"The accommodation was good for the price. Location was quite, and site was clean. Inside the cooking facilities, and cutlery was old and mix matched. Think bedding should be offered as a option to rent as no sheet or pillow case, just a sleeping bag for cover was provided. Luckily i was travelling on elsewhere after so i had my own pillow, and sleeping bag. "

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"We have stayed with extended family and friends including a number of teens, baby and a large dog. Had brilliant time, house well equipped for all ages, pool is large and very well maintained. Extensive grounds with lots of places to relax including my favourite - the hammock! The views are to die for! All very clean and the owners were fantastic, helpful but not intrusive. We had such a lovely time and will come back to continue exploring the area - so much to do!"

"La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. We were a family of 12 from ages 21 to 79 and the property was perfect for us all to be together, and also space for individual and quiet moments if required. "We had a lovely week at Franck’s property which is in a perfect location, quiet and a short walk to the centre of Riberac. The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard - in fact as there has been some refurbishment including new bathrooms since the listing photos were published it exceeded our expectations. The pool and garden were ideal to relax in especially in the heat wave we experienced. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot in the Dordogne within walking...

"We’ve had a wonderful week here. The pool is fantastic especially as temperatures were in the high 30s, thankfully inside the house remains cool. The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries."

"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. We only stayed here one night and arrived in the evening, so didn't get to enjoy much time there. However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge. The bed was comfortable and my mum was happy to be able to have a bath. Amit (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was lovely and a wonderful host. He gave advice on where to eat dinner and offered to cook us up a breakfast the next morning. We don't like to eat too much when we are travelling so declined - though still had the usual fare (toast and jam etc.). The surrounding area was beautiful and we would have enjoyed exploring it more. However we were on a tight schedule and had to leave promptly. "
