Right in the lake!

Excellent spot with a beautiful walkway. The Immediate lake access was perfect. The food was good, and the staff were amazing. Perfect place to stay.

We had an excellent stay. The room was very spacious and had a direct view of the lake, with friendly and professional staff across all departments of the hotel. It’s literally ten steps away from the broad walk around the lake, and the hotel offers free bike rentals for guests to use. Highly recommend

Many things were either old or right out broken. The bath tub looks scary. Will not recommend the room with three beds. The rooms facing the lake with only two beds look nicer.

The hotel is a distance from the pier. They do provide shuttle service as and when the driver is available to send you from hotel to the pier but if you were at the pier, you need to call them. They would not send car according to the shuttle schedule. The hotel is right next to the lake but during my visit, the water level was low, so I couldn't really enjoy the lake ciew right from my balcony. The room was big. With a tataimi sitting area. Toilet came with a big bath which you can enjoy bath with your whole family. It is generally a good hotel to stay, just a little inconvenient for tourists who don't drive there.

Sun Moon Lake is a treasure to the country of Taiwan and staying right on the lake at the Sun Moon Lake Hotel enabled us to experience it by boat, walking and biking. This hotel is perfectly located.

台中滞在中に2泊で日月潭に来ました。ホテルは静かでとても過ごしやすかったです。自転車も無料で借りれて、サイクリングもできました。朝食のビュッフェも品数多く全て美味しかったです。日月潭に来た際にはまた宿泊します。

Location of the Hotel - not so convenient and no shops nearby (nearest is about 15 mins walk). Shuttle bus is every hour to and fro but can always uber around. Hence not a big concern for us and we wanted a quiet place to stay. Breakfast is ok and room is ok
