The rooms with incredible view, were clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting sun moon lake.
Great place right by the bikeway (direct access). The owners and staff are amazing, going out of their way to drop us off for early bus departure. Breakfast was amazing - stuffed and packed with energy for the day. Can’t recommend enough!
Was quite a walk from bus drop off point but the service really stood out. There are tables to eat in the lobby so we ate our dinner there and the owner very kindly offered us Japanese biscuits as a snack. When it was raining, he offered to drive us to the pier and they even help send your luggage to the bus pick up point so that you do not need to return to the accommodation to get it. We were aware that breakfast was provided but we thought it would be a simple breakfast, the food was freshly made and so delicious. Overall a very pleasant stay. Rooms had all necessities.
It is on the bike track and 10 minutes walking distance from Shuishe Pier. It locates at a quiet area and its bachyard is facing Sun Moon Lake. Great breakfast made by the owner himself. The room is very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet and reasonable price place to stay, this is a great choice.
Very affordable, great access to the Sun Moon Lake, the homestay owner did not speak English but used his best Google Translation skill to give us so many tips on things to do around the lake. Highly recommend taking a bicycle tour around the lake which will take about 3-5 hours but the view throughout is absolutely stunning.
Overall, I would recommend this place. We stayed 2 nights and the only negative parts of the stay were that the balcony was very small (we had the lake view room) and there were no chairs on the balcony, and that there is no soap in the bathroom and to wash your hands you need to reach into the shower to get some shower gel. The breakfast was great one day and okay on another. I am a vegetarian and the staff did ask me about my food preferences for the day that days a preordered meal (which was great). The buffet breakfast on another day was okay (had vegetarian options but the food was cold). The hotel is new and very clean, we also rented bikes from them, which was very cheap. All in all, I would stay there again.
