Top Yosemite Arch Rock Gate Entrance Hotel Reviews
Yosemite View Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Location was super close to park butt hat doesn mean food options limited. Pizza on-site was great. Didn’t try restaurant because of bad reviews. We did use kitchenette and brought food. Pools were nice. Kids loved game room. "
"The location was really good but I did not know this was the basement of a property. There are lots of steps and a kind of dank smell. Also beware there are windows in the showers to the outside."
The Ahweanee in Foresta, Inside Yosemite National Park
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was great and in a nice location. Very quiet and remote. Kitchen nicely stocked. Absolutely everything you need is here including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. My husband and I would consider staying here again. The hot tub is not operating and this should be noted on the listing. "
"We stayed here for three nights, 6 adults and 2 kids.Location- located in Yosemite West which is inside the park and about 20 minute drive to Yosemite Village. So, excellent location.Rates- we felt that the rates were fair. Of course, the VRBO fees drive up the cost a bit.Beds - 3 bedrooms with queen beds were good. The two boys, 9 and 11, slept in the sleeper sofa. If was ok, not great.Bathrooms - four adults had to share one bathroom which was a bit of a challenge.Supplies - this cabin was very well supplied. It had plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. one of the best equipped cabins I have stayed in. The gas grill was excellent.Great room area- it had a good amount of seating. The tv was good. There were a lot of old vhs movies. We really only had one complaint. Two bedrooms were downstairs (basically a 3 level house). These bedrooms were about 10 degrees cooler than the main level or upstairs bedroom. I called the management people and they said, that’s the way it is. So, bundle up when staying downstairs in the summer."
Sunset Retreat NEW LISTING. Inside Yosemite PARK! Close to Half Dome, Ski Area
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay! All 5 stars in each subcategory from our extended family of 11. In addition to all the details in the listing (games, kitchen tools, etc.) it was also a nice surprise to have nice shampoo/ conditioner/ wash provided and wonderful to have more beds than expected (3 BR: 1 queen, 1 queen, 1 full with double twin bunk). The only thing that may be needed would be more sheets if you plan to have anyone sleep on a couch (extra pillows and blankets were provided). Thank you for a wonderful week! "
"This is a great place to stay! It's right in the park and close to many sites if you have a few days to explore. The grill came in very handy for our group of friends. WiFi worked great and every room had a fan. I will say, the beds are a little on the stiff side, but if you bring a cushion top, you'll be fine. Would stay here again."
"Lovely weekend at Yosemite in this house. We had 9 adults and two 3 yr olds and 2 infants. The downstairs separate accommodations were nice too. Nice kitchen well supplied, long dining table to accommodate all of us, good selection of programs on tv. and comfy beds. We drove into Yosemite for the day on Saturday and it started to snow just after we got back. The kids loved making snowballs on the deck, some of us saw a couple bears cross the road near the house, and waking on Sunday morning to the snow covered pine trees and the winter landscape was magical. Some icy conditions on the road on the way out, but all turned out well. Loved it!"
"Comfy and cozy and perfect for 4 couples for a week in Yosemite. Great fireplace heating and comfy beds. Good to check in with the host beforehand about what is stocked (which we did). Gorgeous views in the snow. So convenient to the valley. Hot tub provided perfect end to vigorous hiking days."
