"The hotel has been recently rebranded and is undergoing extensive renovations. The bits they've finished, like the rooms and the dining room, are new and shiny. The room itself was comfortable. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. "Beautiful view overlooking the river. Everything super clean, and great breakfast and dinner buffet. Location is excellent, can walk all over town and easy to get to/from train station. Be aware, the onsen is not tattoo friendly, there are others in town that allow tattoos, but this is not one of them. Regardless, Highly recommend. "

"The room were nice and clean and had all needed amenities. We were picked up from the station in a shuttle bus with other hotel customers and at our arrival we were kindly greeted by staff who gave us a full tour and explanation of the property. The staff was always attentitve and kind with us. We also had dinner and breakfast included and they were delicious. Unfortunately, it was a bit too much food for us, which is a nice problem to have, but also a lot of waste. In general, everything was 10/10 and I would definitely come back and highly recommend it. The on-site onsen was also great for when you would like a late night or super early bath and have had enough of the town onsens."
