犬連れOKの宿と聞いていたので、予約サイトから予約を入れた。少しでもお得にと考えるのが人情というもの。だが当日到着してみると犬不可の部屋を予約してしまっていて宿泊できなかった。聞けばこちらの宿は犬連れの部屋の予約は直接HPか電話でしか受け付けていないという。宿の方の機転で隣県の同じ宿の犬OK部屋を案内していただき、こちらの宿のキャンセル料は発生せずに済んだ。しかし翌日の予定は大幅に変更せざるを得なかったし、疲れた体でさらに2時間近く運転するハメになってしまった。"

We stayed stayed two nights and had an excellent experience. The front desk and concierge staff were helpful. They arranged taxi service, brought our bags to our room, and answered questions about the area. The buffet at the Garden Court resaurant had a variety of offerings and great service. The room was clean and well-appointed. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Kanayama station and shops. We would stay here again.

This is the nicest hotel I think we've ever stayed in, and we travel a bit. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere, regardless of price or rating, where there wasn't some small thing a bit off -- even five-star hotel rooms have some gross dusty corner, if you look hard enough.
