Deep Dale

The location is perfect for those wishing to explore the stunning yet often overlooked Yorkshire Wolds with numerous walking and cycling routes, quaint villages, and bustling market towns. Explore the local area, within easy reach of the coast and seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey, and only 20 minutes’ drive from the park & ride service into the historic city of York.

4 pods are available one site; Hundle Dale, Worm Dale, Deep Dale and Mingle Dale. Each of the pods are fully insulated and have underfloor heating and ensuite shower rooms making them ideal for year-round stays. Each comprises of 2 double beds and a single bunk comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests. A kitchenette includes fridge with ice compartment, microwave, kettle, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker & a range of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. Enjoy a welcome hamper on arrival including tea, coffee pods, milk and breakfast essentials. Relax on the sofa an evening in the living area, with extendable dining table and chairs, smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. Wi-Fi is also available in the pod.

Outside is a seating area with brazier. Gas barbeques are available to hire for the duration of your stay.

Parking is provided for one vehicle per pod in a designated area adjacent to the field where the pods are sited. Additional vehicles can be parked with prior agreement from the site owners. Children aged 0-3 stay free and are exempt from the additional guest supplement, but the maximum occupancy of 5 still applies.

Check in is from 4pm-8pm, if you are due to arrive outside of this time, please contact us.

We are unable to accommodate any pets in the pods. The site is located on a working farm/livery yard so please be aware that agricultural machinery may be operating around Bugthorpe Grange. We also ask that guests do not approach or attempt to feed any livestock (incl. horses, dogs) and to be aware that we use electric fencing where we have livestock.

We rented all 4 pods for a weekend away to celebrate a special birthday. The pods are in a lovely peaceful location, and were everything we expected and more. The attention to detail in ensuring they contain everything you require is fantastic. The welcome hampers are great with lots of lovely locally sourced goodies. We will definitely come back again in the future. Nothing everything you could ever need is already provided.

Location, attention to detail, friendliness , the lodge was immaculate , the theme of the dragonfly was great, the kids had fun seeing how many items they could find. Every amenity was covered, The owners have thought of everything. Great for a family of 5 and amazing space , beautiful surroundings, this exceeded our expectations. If you look for the Calmest , quietest Countryside stay

Amazing place. Deep doen the road , drive through the golden colored fields , we reach a farm & farm house. 4 pods are welcoming you facing the farmland. Astounding vibes of night stay in wooden pod on a summer night watching the twingling stars from the wooden patio .. We loved it! BBQ facilities were there , but we couldnt do it not much to say

Everything! You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into these pods. It was very clean, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was a gorgeous welcome package of local produce - food, milk, bread and jam. The family who run it were very welcoming. Thank you for having us! Nothing!

Outstanding!

The Pod was beautifully decorated and gorgeously personalised with a theme. The whole pod felt like home from home and was extremely comfortable, with many pillows, blankets and everything that you might need for a stress free get away. What a delightful peaceful place. Every part well thought out and managed. Nothing was too much trouble for this host. Outstanding! There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like. The whole thing was exceptional.
