  • This dog-friendly home located near the ocean is the perfect getaway for you and your family! This home consists of two smaller units that can be rented separately or together! Enjoy modern amenities during your stay including cable TV and complimentary internet access! This home also offers boogie boards for use at the beach. Take advantage of the furnished deck equipped with a gas grill to treat everyone to a tasty cookout!

    What's nearby:
    Located in a great spot right near the beach, you'll be just a short walk away from getting your toes in the sand. You'll also find both golfing and playgrounds nearby. Just a half-mile from this rental, check out the local shops and restaurants including the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound Harborside Restaurant. You won't want to miss out on all the amazing seafood while vacationing here! The home is just north of Cape Neddick, and three and a half miles from the center of downtown York. Walk half a mile south (only eight minutes on foot) to sunbathe and swim at Short Sands Beach, stroll one and a half miles south to check out the surf at Long Sands Beach, and head two miles southeast to admire the iconic Nubble Light at the tip of Cape Neddick. Traveling with kids? Be sure to take them to the nearby York Animal Kingdom for rides and zoo animals!

Property Great, Owner Great, Vacasa not so much

The property was fabulous. It was very well located. I met the owner one afternoon while he was cutting the grass. He was amazing. Vacasa caused a problem that did not need to exist, but it cost us 3 nights of the carriage house that we rented. Fortunately, while talking with the owner, he said that we were right and Vacasa messed up. He immediately fixed it and offered a partial refund for the problem before I could ever asked for one. The rest of our trip went perfectly. I would rent from this owner anytime. I would not use Vacasa again. Overall, the property was perfect.

Great place to stay!

Everything was very clean, there was lots of space for everyone, beach, shops and arcade all within walking distance. We were able to walk to the beach every morning and see the sunrise!

Perfect getaway!!!

Everything was incredible. Excellent price, location is incredible, communication with manager was great. If I had to pick one negative it’s that the main house only has one bathroom. Overall though this place is incredible. It’s was unbelievably clean upon check in, every utensil you could need. Location is a 10!! Close to everything but private when you’re there. Just awesome all around!!!
