"Perfect location as we love this area of York. No parking but we used ‘yourpark’ which had a car park directly opposite the hotel which was great! Super comfy bed. Breakfast lush. Will continue to stay here whenever visiting York."

"All in all, we had a pleasant stay. The property and ground floor twin room was clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities required. It's also a good location within around 15/20 minutes to the city centre and directly across from the hospital. The lady I spoke to on the phone on check in and to gain entry was friendly and helpful. This is mind, our last minute booked stay was very good value for money. My only suggestion to management would be to change the bed in the room above room 2 as the squeakiness which continued on and off for quite a long while in the room above caused some awkwardness and use of headphones for our mum and 12yo daughter stay. "

"Pros- Good pool. Great breakfast with wide variety. Lovely restaurant staff. Lovely maintenance staff. Good location a little away from the centre. Some nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for paid parking. Comfy beds. Accomodates kids well. Cons- Sewage smell from basin. Reception staff seem a little more overwhelmed than other staff. Signs of wear all over the room - carpets, broken lamp, superficial damage/scratches to bathtub. "
