This is our go to place to stop when driving between Sydney and Melbourne. It’s clean comfortable and the shower is always hot and powerful, which is so important after so many hours of travelling! Its location is ideal. Close enough for a short stroll into the centre of Yass. This time we are staying on our up and back trip.

We liked the enormous size of our room. Also, the room was very quiet as the street was quiet at night. The white sheets were nice. The thick white towels were lovely. There was no extractor fan or openable window in the bathroom so the shower steam (and other more unpleasant vapours) were trapped in the bathroom and therefore in the entire room. This is a major oversight in design. A second problem was that the iron was full of water and when I tried to wash it out it repeatedly, it kept expelling masses of black grit into the sink and so was unusable.

All the staff are welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and well appointed. Parking is provided. Little packets of biscuits to have with a cup of tea or coffee were appreciated. There is a kitchenette including a microwave, crockery and cutlery as well as a lovely onsite restaurant. We have stayed here twice in the last few months and will stay there again the next time we are visiting Yass.
