「部屋はきれいに管理されていると思いますが、3泊の宿泊中、部屋の床は掃除機をかけられていなかったように思います。またバスタオルは日本でよく使われているサイズの2倍の大きなバスタオルが備えられていましたか、フェイスタオルはありませんでした。私は自分のタオルを念のために持参していましたので大丈夫でしたが、女性は特にフェイスタオルもほしいと感じるのではないでしょうか？ また、部屋には「電気をつけっぱなしにしないでください」など、「〜しないでください」の注意書きがいくつも壁に貼られていて、中には常識外れの行動をする宿泊者もいるのかもしれませんが、いくつもの注意書きがあるのは少し窮屈に感じました。 オーナーの女性は親切でした。」

「Heather is lovely. The room and bathroom was perfect... all I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and had a good night's sleep. The ferry is a good 15 to 20 minute walk away, so Portsmouth is only another five minutes on the ferry.」

「Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone...

「Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets.
