"the home was great for able body adults. There is a quarter of a block mud path and 53 steep stairs down to the lake which is normal for Lake Cumberland but if your not in good shape would be very hard to handle . Not enough paper goods furnished paper towels etc. Not enough cleaning supplies.Overall my 4 adult children and my wife and I had a great time!!!!"

"We stayed a night at the 7 Gables Motel on our way home from visiting family out of state. We were hot & tired and this was our haven of rest. We were met at checking by a wonderful couple who were very kind & helpful. We were hot & tired and this place was just what we needed. We got a nice warm shower and watched a little TV before climbing into bed for a great night sleep. One of the best experiences we ever had!"

"host was very nice and very helpful when needed! our little one had a blast with the hot tub/ community pools and trying to play pool with the mini kids sticks. the only two things were the branches coming into the driveway made it hard to see coming in/ out and we felt the place wasn’t properly cleaned before our stay. we’ve stayed in this same resort in the past and each time we have a blast. just be prepared for the drive up the mountain as some turns can be a little tight!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den! Everything was well described in the property description and it was very clean! The hosts communication was excellent and the delicious homemade Almond Poppy Seed bread and fresh eggs were an added treat! The location was very close to Cumberland Falls Resort Park where we went and saw the Moonbow one night and was a short drive to Sterns KY for the Big South Fork Railway trip to the old Blue Heron Coal Mine. On our way out we also went to the Natural Arch Recreational area and enjoyed our hike and saw 2 arches. Highly recommend this rental for a private, quiet getaway!"
