Staff nice and helpfull.😊 Property Facilities would need improving, lovely grounds and views, but some places (including a few Lodges) are abandoned and would need some invesment to put back in service.」

「There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality. 」

「What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. 「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」

「Quite a lot around the hotel car park was a bit if a pain to find cause you have to go all around to park at back & then not a lot of spaces also didn’t appreciate dogs being in the restaurant when we were having breakfast to me that shouldn’t be allowed especially with food very unhealthy 」
