Nestled privately next to a lake, The Shepherds Hut is the perfect cosy glamping place to hide away and get some relaxation and unwind. Only a short drive away from the beautiful River Deben with it's plentiful walks and riverside pubs, this is a great base for exploring Suffolk and its wonderful coast.
The Shepherd's Hut at Anvil House brings nothing but a sense of calm and relaxation to all who are lucky enough to spend a few nights here, set next to a private lake with views over the water from all the windows. As you step up to the hut you are greeted with an open plan living space. At one end is a double bed, complete with a memory foam mattress and cotton bed linen. There is storage space under the bed as well as a cleverly hidden table which can be pulled out with two rattan chairs for those cosy evenings when it is too cold to sit outside for supper. The kitchen area is complete with a fridge, double induction hob, butler sink and an Everhot which has oven space as well as keeping the hut toasty and warm. At the opposite end of the hut to the bed is the bathroom complete with a shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Outside is a decked area with a table and chairs looking out over the water. The best place to sit back and enjoy your favourite tipple while the sun goes down and stars come out. Feel free to bring your fishing gear, there are plenty of fish in the lake.
