"There was a very intense snow storm on the day I was to arrive. So, Stephanie, from this Best Western motel, personally called to inform me of the dire driving conditions and of the limited staff and services that would be available, should I decide to come. Her proactive, safety minded information helped me decide that I should cancel my trip up north. She also took care of cancelling my reservation. Stephanie seems to be a truly caring and kind person who goes out of her way to serve and help others. This motel is so lucky to have her working for them. Thank you so much, Stephanie. Marie "

"Needed a room because mackinaw bridge was closed."

"The staff was super nice and motel is in a convenient location right near a Walmart and a few restaurants. Heater worked and water got very warm! That being said, it was dusty and there was lots of crumbs and stuff on the floor. Definitely needed a good cleaning. The king mattress was just two twins put together. Lastly it seemed a little sketchy and at one point a few cops were there. Overall a good stay though."

"Wish they'd take what their issues are when told seriously.... Stay there a lot because of weather and where I work, and the issues there are not just minor or picky ones"

"The beds are small full or extra large twins Not made for 2 people comfortably. The hotel needs some deep cleaning. The pool was cold but the hot tub was amazing! Shuttle was nice. Continental breakfast was good. Overall nice place but definitely could use a refresh "

"We had a great stay, however, we were placed on the bottom floor and there was a lot of noise all throughout the night that made it very hard to sleep. I would never want to a room on the bottom floor again there. "
