Pretty good for the price

Cabin was really nice for a weekend getaway. Decently secluded which was nice. One of the mattresses had a decent stain on it, but property manager responded quickly and resolved the issue. Overall a good place to stay.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Great log cabin only a few minutes away from town. Plenty of room for our group of 8. The bedroom upstairs has two beds perfect for kids. The rooms downstairs are perfect for two couples. This cabin is only a few minutes from town and we never had to drive far for any of our activities. Some reviews mention having river access; this is not the case. All river property is private. Most mattresses are comfortable; lower floor mattresses need replaced. Everyone that slept downstairs woke up with an achy back and constantly rolled toward the middle of the bed.

Beautiful property. Quiet location but still close to town.

Our group loved staying here. Comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Loved the patio and green space. It was still quiet at the location which we wanted while still being a short drive to the Dells when we wanted to get out.

The property is a little dated, the showers make an awful noise. There’s a mouse in the house somewhere upstairs that made a lot of noise at night. All in all it served its purpose and it was a good weekend.

Nice property, not very clean or well stocked

The description does mention this cabin is not well stocked, but boy do they mean it. The kitchen was probably the worst part. The rest was passable, but we had to buy everything, dish soap, laundry detergent, and extra utensils. We had 6 forks between 12 people, but probably 30 plates. The first night we literally had to eat in shifts. The cabin was also not that well cleaned, dead bugs everywhere. I had to sweep the entire cabin upon arrival so my baby wouldn't pick up dead bugs off the ground. I think if they took some extra care properly cleaning and stocking the kitchen so everyone could eat and not share utensils and store leftovers, it would be a much more enjoyable stay. Location was great though. Easy walk to the river, quick drive into town. I would consider other rentals by this company to see if those cabins are slightly more elevated than this one.

Nice property

Overall it was a nice stay. Very quiet no one else in sight. At first kinda hard to find because some roads were poorly plowed due to a small snow storm. Cleanliness/maintenance was the only issue. For the price, I expected the home to be more clean. Upon entry it was rather cold. The blinds in the eating area were cracked, the towels and rooms smelled like cigarettes, floors were full of dust and one of my children found a vase pen in family room.

Great house in the woods!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and beautiful. Loved the wonderful pool table in the lower level. Instant hot water out of the faucets. The great room / kitchen made for a fantastic gathering place. Dell's attractions, golf courses and state parks were a short drive away. We would highly recommend this property. Our party of 10 was very comfortable in this house!

Great location

We overall enjoyed our stay at Bluff View. The location is perfect, out of the hustle and bustle. Though, the house was not clean. There were cobwebs on light fixtures, carpets feel sticky, I had to purchase a swiffer for the wood flooring because it was turning our feet black. We had to wash all our towels ourselves because they smelled of cigarette smoke. We never did find a pier on the river, just a pathway to the water that goes through other people’s yards. We still enjoyed our time here, but for the cost of the house I would expect it to at least be clean.

Great service - made everything easy

Loved the location and they house. George and Dana from the rental company were amazing and vary helpful, as were the property owners. We had never been to the area and George took time to tell us the highlights of the Dells and recommended some great things to do. I would recommend this property. We were happy that the location was not in the heart of downtown, but just a quick drive down the road and close to everything.
