solides Hotel

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb und sehr ruhig auf einem Hügel, weiter hoch geht es zur Hochheide Hütte. Es ist etwas veraltet und etwas hellhörig. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und wir hatten einen super Ausblick. Es könnten mehr vegetarische Gerichte oder Lebensmittel angeboten werden. Aber wir würden jederzeit wieder hin. Die Zimmer haben jedoch keinen Kühlschrank ( es gibt einen Gemeinschaftskühlschrank) und keinen Schminkspiegel.

Sehr freundliches und fleißiges Personal! Unterbesetzte Rezeption telefonisch wie real nicht jederzeit in dem auf homepage angegeben Zeitraum erreichbar, weil das Personal an mehreren Orten gleichzeitig eingesetzt wird. Mein Einzelzimmerfenster hatte Blick auf etwa 1m entfernte, hohe Betonmauer, ohne dass bei Buchung im internet darauf hngewiesen wurde! Wunderbare Naturumgebung.

Unter dem klangvollen Namen hatte ich mir etwas Anderes vorgestellt. Ja,- es war preiswert, aber Zimmer mit Blick in den Kellerschacht, Essen zu vorgeschriebenen Zeiten und dann nur ein eher güstig gehaltenes Buffet... Wer preiswert in einer tollen Gegend Wanderurlaub machen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Große Erweartungen lässt man lieber zuhause.

Tolle Lage, schönes Zimmer, netter Chef, schöne Sauna mit herrlichem Blick in die Natur, insgesamt ein Super Preis-Leistungspaket, was mir gefehlt hat war eine Bar mit Bedienung. Ansonsten gerne wieder!

A very mixed reception / experience

Arrived at 7.20pm to be told that reception closed at 6.20 even though websites states 9pm. Was then told there was no reservation though they later found it, then was asked to pay again ...... until I could prove I had paid. Else the hotel was ok, the pillows in the room were useless. Evening meal and breakfast were good though.

Not good not bad

The view is very nice. Room is very clean and quite big. Shower box was empty when we arrived. In the corridor it smells what they cook in the kitchen. Breakfast is not the best. Wifi almost doesn't work.

Sauber, leckeres reichhaltiges Frühstück mit nem Gläschen Sekt, sehr freundliches Personal. Aber. Gebucht wurde Ein Doppelzimmer mit Queen Bett. Es waren aber zwei zusammengestellten Einzelbetten, mit dickem Spalt dazwischen. Auf die Nachfrage gabs ne Antwort: es ist ein Irrtum mit Queenbett, wir haben nur solche zusammengestellte Betten. Also: das Bett zum Kuscheln zu zweit ist absolut ungeeignet! Sonst war alles OK

Personal sehr nett. Essen war absolut in Ordnung. Kann negative Äußerungen diesbezüglich nicht verstehen. Das Zimmer war super sauber. So etwas habe ich noch nicht mal in einem 5 ⭐️ Hotel erlebt. Massage war auch super. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Wer das Haus kennt, wird vermutlich enttäuscht!

Ein schönes Haus in wirklich toller Lage. Wir machten seit ca. 10 Jahren hier gemeinsam Urlaub. Seit dem der Betreiber gewechselt hat, hat leider die Qualität spürbar nachgelassen. Nach dem ersten Abend haben wir die Halbpension abbestellt. Die Qualität des Essens ist unserer Ansicht nach stark verbesserungsbedürftig. Auch das Frühstück ist hier unserer Wahrnehmung nach keine Ausnahme. Wir haben schon sehr genau hinschauen müssen um Wurst zu finden, die sich nicht an den Rändern nach oben wellte und eine unschöne Farbe angenommen hatte. Gab es früher in dem Haus ein reiche Auswahl an verschiedensten frischen Brötchen und Brotsorten, gab es bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt genau zwei Sorten von Aufbackbrötchen der eher günstigeren Sorte. Warme Frühstücksgerichte (Rührei und Würstchen) waren kalt. Größtenteils sprechen die Mitarbeiter (auch im Service) kein Deutsch. Sind aber sehr höflich und stets bemüht. Wer das Haus von früher kennt, wird vermutlich enttäuscht. Unterm Strich, leider kommt ein erneuter Aufenthalt für uns nicht mehr in Frage.

Uitstekend hotel in een prachtige omgeving

Uitsluitend positieve ervaringen met het Panorama-hotel in Winterberg. Het hotel is uitstekend ingericht: nieuw en mooi meubilair, nieuw tapijt op de vloer, etc. Het ontbijt is prima, voldoende variatie in dranken, fruit, brood, beleg, etc. De ligging van het hotel is perfect: prachtige omgeving, heel mooi uitzicht en uitermate rustig. En op een kleine 10 km. van de ski-pistes van Winterberg.

Good hotel but a bit expensive

A clean hotel with a nice room but I expected a bit more for this price. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. Not easy to find! No signs that indicate the name of the hotel while you drive to the hotel.
