This home is great for a weekend away. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the outdoor games. It’s a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
Everything was perfect! Perfect amount of space and the house is beautiful. The description was accurate and the pool and hot tub were everything we wanted.
Really enjoyed the location of the property, was everything we could have asked for, loved the open floor plan design. Would absolutely want to rent it again sometime.
Best beds and soft sheets await your weary head at Shady Grove. The home is super clean, three bedrooms two baths and large kitchen and living. The home is very close to town and easy to find. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Just ok
This was just ok. Could have been a little cleaner. The location is not great. We enjoyed the hot tub.
The location was great, close to town and easy to find. Very cute on the outside. Loved the grounds and the outdoor areas and hot tub were well done. We would have appreciated better craftmanship on the inside but furnishings made it nice enough. The water pressure was very low in the showers and not enough to wash long hair, but there was a tub that worked. The instructions were good and everything was labeled nicely. Thank you for the stay.

Great location
These are not show stoppers. Overall property was lovely and great location. Check in is so late and check out is earlier than most. Fan in living room had 1 speed and it was too aggressive and controller wouldn't allow us to lower speed. Outdoor motion sensor light kept going off many times outside the bedroom waking us. Thanks for letting us stay on your property. We try and treat your house like our own.
We enjoyed our stay at this home with family. The town of WImberly is a hidden treasure and this house is minutes away. It had everything that we needed to cook and the beds were very comfortable. Even in the Texas heat of 110 degrees, we stayed nice and cool. The hot tub was nice for relaxing at night. We enjoyed tubing at Horseshoe Bend in the refreshing cool water, which was only a short drive away. New Braunsfels is about 30 minutes away and offers fabulous restaurants and shopping. San Marcos is about 30 minutes away and offered great shopping at the outlets. It was always nice to get back to our house and relax. I would stay here again.

Family Getaway
Enjoyed this home. The location was great! Loved the fire pit outside. Definitely enjoyed the deer and guinea's that hung around.
The issue I did have was that the bedroom/laundry room smelled badly of mold because of the washing machine. I did call and talk to someone about this and was told it was the well water. Once we purchased cleaner ourselves and cleaned it 3 times the smell was tolerable. But we could not use the room. It was definitely inconvenient. The bathroom rugs and shower curtain in the master bedroom definitely needed to be washed. And the whole house could have used a good mopping.
Other than this I would recommend this house.
Thank you
So for these reasons I gave a rating of 4.
The property was great for our family and well equipped. The location was great with the cute town of Wimberly very close and a large HEB just down the street!
Great spot for a weekend getaway. House was very updated and clean. Backyard was great for grilling steaks. Super close to Wimberly for dining, shopping, etc. Will definitely be back!
Excellent property with just enough country/small town balance. Property had all necessary amenities and kitchen was fully stocked. Bedding was delightful.
What a great place for a family getaway. Great location! Very thoughtful designed and equipped. All our needs were anticipated. I would highly recommend this property!
Located on a dead end secluded road just couple miles from downtown shopping. Had everything needed for our stay. Very clean home with very comfy beds. Everyone enjoyed the home
We had a wonderful stay. We’re some issues with the AC thermostat.
