"This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything."

"I’ll say right away we loved everything about this property and how responsive and accommodating our host, Julie, was. The property was exactly as described and perfect for an escape into the mountains. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, charming, relaxing… the list goes on. "Our family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was warm, comfortable and cozy. It had everything we needed for the stay. Scenic area, short drive to Whiteface."

"William's cabin was perfect for a quick ADK getaway! The home was more equipped than expected (we usually camp, so there were more amenities than we are used to having) and the location was perfect- close to hikes, Lake Placid, and easy to find. Would definitely recommend this and will hopefully return in the future!"

"This is a great location for a family of 4. 15 minute drive to the mountain, walkable to some restaurants, and 2 minute drive or longer walk to main street. The accommodations have everything you would need for a winter stay at Lake Placid."

"I loved everything. The ease of parking right outside of your room. The grounds were so pretty at night, kit up and a real fire pit. It was peaceful. Shelly and her staff were always available with any questions. I ate dinner the 1st night there and it was delicious and welcoming. I even extended my stay a night. I booked it to see the Olympics ice skating championships which was just a 15 minute drive. There really isn't anything around there to eat or shop so just got to Hannafords ahead of time."

"This was such a great place to stay. Everything was perfect. The front desk agent, Manasi, welcomed us ( me and my Service dog Bobo) so gracefully and said farewell on our way out. It's always so pleasant to leave a hotel with a smile on your face, feeling good and knowing you'll be back. I cannot recommend this property more strongly. Best place I've ever staid in the Adirondacks!!!!"

"This was a fun place to stay. Kind of quirky, certainly unique. Clean and spacious and with a Scandinavian vibe. Could have used an extra hook or two for towels and the sink was a challenge as water tended to splash over onto the floor. Free use of bikes and an outdoor sauna added to the special atmosphere. They also offer a couple of glamping options. Cool. We tried the breakfast basket option one morning. Sharp idea. We would stay here again, without question. "
