It is an older hotel but maintained with pride and charm. The feel of the property was similar to a high end B&B. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Also the property is tucked away off the main highway so it is peaceful and comfortable. The continental breakfast was served with care and elegance for healthy choices. I definitely recommend staying there and hope to return someday.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were late arriving yet they still turned the heat back up on the hot tub so I could soak a sore knee.

Room was fairly clean and in decent shape. Appliance were on the old side but functional and clean. No smoke smell. Breakfast was on the small side - just muffins, bagels, and yogurt.

Cute place, clean. AC was broken had to switch rooms. Owner was clearly stressed and at first angry but then cooled down and was nicer. Seemed overwhelmed at the time which wasn’t a fun experience but it all worked out. Did have a couple spiders in the room which I’m not used to seeing.

The property is beautiful and the room was very clean. I appreciated the breakfast, which included the same things we eat at home. I like this because it didn't throw us off our regular diet. The pool wasn’t the cleanest but I I figured it was the end of the day so a few leaves and a dead bee wasn’t much of a big deal. Husband scooped that up. I enjoyed the jacuzzi! I liked the location of this hotel to restaurants. Staff were very friendly and warm. I should have brought my dog! There was a small area for them and they have pet friendly rooms. If I will add this to my list of preferred hotels. We plan to return to Willits.

Positives: The check in staff was helpful and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. Negatives: The bathroom had 1 of the 3 bulbs working. The sink was clogged, the “breakfast” was scarce. Hard boiled eggs were not cooked completely, and other options were bagel, English muffin or toast. Also coffee and OJ. The topper was being offered religious pamphlets on our way out.

The rooms were dirty, stains on bed comforter, walls needed paint, dirt on walls, the pictures of the room did not represent the actual room look. Cement ground for the walk in shower. Constant noises above the bathroom and they said it was pipes and i could not fall asleep for a while due to the noise of the ceiling.

It is a really cute hotel!!! The staff were nice. Nice variety for the breakfast. Rooms were nice and cozy. The only problem was the water pressure in the shower only came out half of one side and at 6 am we got woke up to the pipes in the bathroom wall making a crazy honking loud noise and didn’t stop for like an hour. Also though it was funny that they use physical keys and the locks are a little fickle. We would stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience! Jan was awesome! Her hospitality was exceptional. We enjoyed our breakfast on the creek. Our room was immaculate. I highly recommend this Baechtel Creek Inn!

Property was very nice. Beautiful landscaping especially around w pool, pics don’t do it justice. Room was extremely clean and satisfactory. Wish they would have had a fitness room that wasn’t the gym across the street… location is excellent. Near lots of trails and right in town (but still secluded by a beautiful creek!). They offered a 10$ coupon to eat a larger hot breakfast and the neighboring lumberjack restaurant each day, so we did that instead of the continental breakfast, which was English muffins/toast/muffins/ granola/yogurt/hard boiled eggs. Would stay here again.

They put us in a room under construction when we paid for a premium room. They tried to bill me again and then charge me some sort of tourist fee (I live in the area). They then told me I over paid through Expedia (which has never happened before) but did not offer to refund me any money. The hot tub bathtub was nice but be sure to bring your own toiletries, pen etc. They did have a coupon for Lumberjacks breakfast but the service was terrible and they were very insulting at check in.

The room was very clean and bright…very welcoming; comfortable place to stay. Continental breakfast is what is usual. Only gripe is we came for breakfast at around 9:00 (we were the only ones there), and the manager (owner?) chose this time to spend about 20 minutes berating the front desk employee about what she had done wrong. It was impossible to enjoy our breakfast on the back patio listening to this (which should have been done without any customers around…shows lack of respect for us and employee). One last note for international customers…they charged the $100 incidentals/damage deposit rather than just putting a hold…which when they refunded the charge resulted in a net charge of $5.13 CAD due to exchange rate; they should change the policy of how they handle cc charges.

This hotel was fine. It was a busy weekend for them which I guess they are not used to. But our room didn't get cleaned during the whole day that we were out and they said it was because they were so busy. I get it- it's a busy holiday weekend- but then prep for that- staff up more, or honestly, just leaving a note on our door explaining the situation would have helped. Our fire alarm was also hanging out from the ceiling and we asked for it to be fixed. They fixed it by taping it to the ceiling, which had promptly fallen off, dangling from the ceiling again, and it was still not operable. The hair dryer also didn't work at all. To top it off, we wanted to go into the jacuzzi with our daughter around 4:30-5pm. It was not heated up at all. For some reason, they turn it on when someone wants to go in it. If it's listed as an amenity, it should be heated during the whole time the jacuzzi is open which was from sometime in the morning to 9pm. We sat in a slightly warm jacuzzi as it slowly heated up for an hour. We couldn't come back later so that's what we ended up with. I specifically chose this hotel because it had a jacuzzi so that was a major disappointment. Yes- we got our fare from Expedia but we still paid market price since it was a holiday weekend.
