6 room guest house very close to UConn campus. House is very old I suppose historic with original uneven floors. Bathroom was nicely updated but small. Hosts were very nice. May stay again due to location. Wish there was a sidewalk or walking path along Storrs Rd.
Janaki, our hostess, was very accommodating. She met us at the door and escorted us to our room. She even carried my partner's suitcase for her. She even returned a few minutes later to check on our comfort, as regards the temperature. We both slept quite well. The beds were firm, but not "rock hard". The bedding was perfect, considering the outside temps were in the high 20's. Next morning, we had choices of yogurts (sugar-free, which is rare), pumpkin muffins, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruit and a few other goodies down in the "common lounge", where we met 2 couples from Minnesota, who were in CT for the Nutmeg Classic (a Women's Ice Hockey tournament, being hosted by UConn). Their daughters were playing for one of the schools. All-in-all, a very nice experience and a great place to stay!
The room was very comfortable and clean. The outside by the road was a bit run down and so I went passed it because I was looking for something more presentable just like I saw on line
It was a nice and comfortable stay. There was breakfast included with our stay, yet in the morning, everything was closed and no signs as to when or why. Other than this, it was a lovely place to stay. Thank you.
Property is charming and exactly what I expected. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Huge drawback if you want to sleep well is that the thermostat is in the hallway and you should be prepared to not sleep because the rooms are like hot boxes in a sweat shop.
Quaint and quiet for our evening check in. Staff made everything easy by texting a code to a lock box with key, easy to find with instructions in the text. I was very pleased with how easy and hassle free everything was. Very clean, comfortable, crisp sheet bed. Had a great nights sleep and we were off, keys on the dresser early next morning. Wish we were staying longer, the grounds were beautiful early that morning!
This property was very convenient. Easy self check in and check out. Very Clean. Not sure I would “vacation” here. Somewhat bare bones. That said, it was perfect for a one night stop over.
I would recommend that the heat be turned up. Although I like sleeping in cool weather with covers, 60 degrees for a late January night in an old building was a bit too cool!

Ok place for a night
It is a self check in with lock boxes. That worked fine. The room was spacious and clean, but it got very cold overnight! It felt like there was no heat. There didn’t seem to be any way to adjust anything. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet.
My stay was in the winter.
The inn was quaint and adequate overall for a one night stay, but the walls were thin and you could hear the guests in hall/ rooms . The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding / towels were clean . No rug so the floor was super cold .
It was freezing on the 2nd floor where the rooms were, and the temp was 60 . At night before bed, I had to ask to have the temp raised but they adjusted it to only 65. In the morning , when I asked again because it was freezing, they finally raised it to 70, saying they didn’t want to over heat the guests upstairs . I was absolutely freezing, couldn’t wait to get in my car to warm up !
Quiet, no frills antique inn. Breakfast items were boring, so we ate elsewhere. Checkin was easy, bed was comfy with microfiber sheets (don't like them personally).
I enjoyed staying here. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable with a nice historic flavor to it. However, the water pressure from the sink faucet was so weak that it was difficult to wash your hands, I had to request soap for the shower, and the breakfast foods in addition to juice and coffee, were limited to some store bought pastries and cookies. I would stay here again because it was comfortable, the staff was very nice, and the adjacent restaurant was convenient. But it did leave some things to be desired.
The best of staying here is the wonderful family who manage the property. Check in process us great, very clean and quiet. We will come back anytime we visit our daughter in UConn
Such a cute little Inn! The bed was sooooo comfortable! Didn’t want to get up! Also loved the black makeup towel! Nice little touch. Very charming place ❤️
