Paradise with A Cool Pool

Spent 13 days based at this amazing house, with everything you need for a magnificent island getaway. Property Manager Irene was very helpful in settling us in upon arrival and at checkout. Very helpful to have a rental car to roam this amazing island, shop, visit amazing beaches. The local Curaçaoans were extremely friendly and engaging. One of the best islands ever.

A fantastic stay at the villa. Communication and booking process with property owners was a breeze, the property manager (Irene) was very helpful and easy to reach for anything at all. I really liked the location, everything in Curaçao I found to be about 15min away by car, but we had a supermarket, gas station and restaurants close by for convenience. Very safe, family atmosphere compound, the private pool was enjoyed by us and the kids :)The only recommendation would be to have some additional blankets, the AC units are located in the bedrooms and the kids would get a little cold with only the sheets, but an amazing stay and beautiful house :)

Perfect Home Away From Home

This place is great in every way. Clean, comfortable, well appointed (good supples, good laundry etc.). it is also beautiful and the manager is super responsive to every need. Don't rent if you don't have a car though. Most things are a 15 minute drive from the house. The pool is great too!

Had a great time… I think being an American we assume a lot… didn’t realize there was no AC throughout the house, so it was a little warm in the kitchen area at times… Nice pool to swim in, but all the same depth. No place to stand or play volleyball. Bring Bug Spray…. Got ate up at night sitting outside in the patio area… I obviously missed in the fine print of the contract, because it was not shown in the listing of the property that we were to pay for water and AC… Overall, nice place to stay…safe neighborhood. The host was very sweet.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gevierd in Villa Gogorobi. Prachtig huis met moderne inrichting en heel mooie badkamers. Heerlijke veranda met een heerlijk zwembad. Lekker fris briesje op de veranda. Prima ontvangst en goede uitleg van de woning. Zeker een aanrader. Het villapark is schitterend alleen de omgeving was wat minder mooi.

Mooi plekje

Wat een mooie woning met een prachtig zwembad. Helaas waren er ook een paar minpuntjes; verschrikkelijke rioollucht op twee toiletten, doorgelegen matras, het huisalarm van de buren dat om de drie uur af gaat en voor een hels kabaal zorgt en ontzettend veel muggen die dol zijn op toeristenbloed. Het huisje was verder prima verzorgd en er stonden zelfs 4 koude biertjes in de koelkast toen we aankwamen 👍👍 Al met al een prachtige vakantie gehad en genoten van jullie nederig stulpje 💪👍🍻

Gute Erholung in gepflegtem Objekt

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem überaus sauberen und gepflegten Haus. Der Pool wurde genau wie das Haus nach 1 Woche Aufenthalt sehr sorgfältig gereinigt während wir schöne Stunden am Strand verbracht haben. Bei unserer Rückkunft waren sogar die Betten frisch bezogen, wir hatten immer ausreichend frische Handtücher. Selbst Gewürze zum Kochen, Spülmittel für Spülmaschine und das Geschirrspülen von Hand, sowie Flüssigseife, Haar- und Duschshampoo sind vorhanden. Die gute Fee Irene war für uns per WhatsApp erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend- vielen,vielen Dank, liebe Irene! Das einzige was wir als Verbesserungsvorschlag anbringen können wäre die Anschaffung eines Toasters- das grundsätzlich weiche bis matschige Brot aus dem Supermarkt ist zumindest für deutsche Gaumen sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die vorhandene Waschmaschine ist einfach verständlich in der Bedienung und hilft dabei mit kleinem Gepäck anzureisen. Durch das hohe Verkehrsaufkommen benötigten wir für den Weg zu unseren Lieblingsstränden etwas Geduld und ca 40 min Fahrtzeit- mit Klimaanlage im Auto auch kein Problem. Den Pool haben wir täglich begeistert genutzt- die Beckentiefe ist für Nichtschwimmer nicht geeignet. Für Kinder vielleicht einen kleinen aufblasbaren Pool in den Koffer packen oder in einem der Geschäfte in der Umgebung erwerben.Alles in allem: die Villa Gogorobi ist rundherum empfehlenswert, das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Villa Gogorobi is een fijn huis met een heerlijk zwembad. Op de momenten dat we in de villa waren, hebben voornamelijk buiten gezeten in de wind. De airco’s in de slaapkamer is geen overbodige luxe; zo fijn dat die aanwezig zijn. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is absoluut een aanrader.

This was a beautiful villa. Well stocked, in a quiet neighborhood, kitchen was functional and all appliances/furniture/house were in good order. Das Objekt entsprach 100 % der Beschreibung und erfüllte unsere Erwartungen sich wohlzufühlen, zu erholen und eine wunderbare Zeit zu verbringen. Man kann nur dankbar sein, so etwas wunderbares zur Verfügung gestellt zu bekommen. Der Garten und die tägliche Begrüßung von Kolibris sind ein Traum. Trotz unserer überdurchschnittlichen Spätankunft wegen Kofferverlust wurden wir von Frau Barkmeyer herzlichst empfangen und mit dem Haus bekannt gemacht. Sie ist die gute Seele des Hauses und beantwortet jegliche Frage. Sollte doch mal was sein ist sie sofort aktiv.Man ist also bestens aufgehoben. Wem abends die Mosquitos und Piri Piri Fliegen auf den Keks gehen, hier gibt es im Mangusa Supermarkt ein local Spray namens BUZZ. Vergessen Sie die Mittelchen aus Deutschland. Das interessiert die Tierchen gar nicht. Die Möglichkeit ein Mosquitonetz anzubringen kann auf Grund der Bauweise nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Man überlebt aber trotzdem :) Der ständige Luftzug rund durchs Haus ist ein Traum und sehr angenehm. Kochen usw. kein Thema, es ist alles vorhanden, sogar Gewürze usw. Was für den ein oder anderen noch angenehm wäre, wäre ein Toaster, so muss man nicht das knatschige Brot essen. Ansonsten können wir nur sagen: buchen, ankommen, wohlfühlen und genießen. Karibischer Traum

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dieser traumhaften Villa total genossen, es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Auch in dem super Pool haben wir vor und nach unseren Badetagen an den tollen karibischen Stränden, immer wieder gerne viel Zeit verbracht. Ein besonderes Lob geht aber an die perfekte Betreuung vor Ort durch Irene - Herzlichen Dank. Lediglich ein kleines Manko ist anzumerken, war uns aber vorher bewusst: Ein Mietwagen ist erforderlich.

Lovely spot with a fantastic pool!

We stayed at this villa in early June 2019 and had a great time. The home was very clean, the kitchen well appointed and the pool was fantastic. You get a lovely breeze virtually all the time that makes it very comfortable to sit on the patio. If you are sitting inside, we ran the floor fans. The home comes with two floor fans that worked well. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. though. Spent a lot of time in the pool. It was very well maintained and does not smell of chlorine. The surrounding gardens are quite pretty. I don't think the listing mentions that the pool is quite deep, about 6 feet straight across. There is no shallow end. Great for us but young swimmers might need some type of flotation device. We found the beds very comfortable and the water pressure in the bathrooms was great. The master bedroom has an ensuite (two sinks, shower, toilet). The other two bedrooms share an ensuite (two sinks, shower, toilet). There is also a powder room off the living room (toilet, sink). The neighbourhood is nice. It's a gated community (pass card needed) and we found it very quiet. You can even hear the goats bleating in the distance from the patio. We rented a car which we found necessary for grocery shopping and beach trips. The beaches that we preferred were over 45 minutes away. This was our first visit to Curacao. We quite enjoyed the people, weather, food and beaches and would definitely go back.

Tolles Haus, Toller Service

Wir haben hier zu dritt (51, 42, 13) zwei Wochen im Oktober 2018 verbracht. Das Haus hat uns von Beginn an mit seiner Sauberkeit und kompletten Ausstattung sehr gut gefallen. Die Übergabe und das Erklären aller Besonderheiten (z.B. Poolbenutzung) durch die Familie Barkmeyer klappten reibungslos. Speziell zu erwähnen ist die leistungsfähige Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, welche die tropischen Nächte erträglich machte. Vier Punkte von uns deswegen, weil ein Mietwagen aus unserer Sicht zwingend erforderlich ist. Touristisch interessante Orte (z.B. Strände) sind nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Insgesamt ist das Haus mit dem sehr guten Service für einen Urlaub auf Curacao jedoch wärmstens zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
