Space was nice, just as the picture shows. A few little things that didn’t make it perfect but I don’t look for perfect on vacation as it is not my home. I did find black panties stuffed under a pillow on the couch before we abruptly left and that was quite disturbing. But not as disturbing as the way I was accommodated in a situation that I have no control over, one that only God, the moon and stars above had. The host or staff that were communicating via text weren’t helpful at all when it comes to real life or death situations and they ignored my requests. We had to evacuate early due to a state of emergency from the coming storm, given the property’s location and the age and capabilities of my family. I asked to speak to someone, receive the contract that I signed, and a checkout confirmation, as we left Saturday night and check out would be Sunday morning. I was told I would receive what I asked for and that was not true as I still don’t have them. If my family had stayed and been affected by the weather, me asking for a partial refund or credit wouldn’t be enough in that case. There was a flood. I had no complaints about the property, it was exactly what we intended. My only complaint is the lack of empathy for an elder in a wheelchair, two toddlers, and parents who had to make a life or possible death decision to ensure safety during a state of emergency.
