「This is a cute little get away. The kitchen is not practical to cook in other than warming up leftovers but way better stocked than a hotel room. 「This motel is convenient to go sightseeing Rocky Mountains National Park. I could go shopping in the downtown by a rental car. There are many shops and restaurants.」

「It was a rustic cabin setting by a river. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds in Estes Park. Our cabin was unexpectedly very close to the other cabins, however, all the guests respected the quiet. Messaging with the host was easy and quick. The kitchenette and bathroom were tiny, but sufficient for our needs. We liked the screened porch with the swing on it. There was a sufficient wifi & tv signal. Location was close to everything in Estes Park. Check in/out was super easy.」

「The property is set on 26 acres on a “small” river (Big Thompson River) in Estes Park. The grounds are nice, and set up as a wedding (or event) venue. They have a good bit of frontage along the river, with benches interspersed. We stayed in “Shooting Star” in the main building’s second (top) floor. It was a very nice unit with a king bed, fireplace, sitting area (bookcases filled with books), shower and separate tub (and sink and toilet; toilet in the water closet with shower, sink outside that...

「The main areas are great, lobby, pool, restaurant (best meal we had in Estes Park). Besides that the rooms were dirty, air conditioner was not very loud and needed maintenance badly. The location and friendly staff are the main reasons, I rated higher.」

「It was a beautiful location, though the day we arrived there was no running water. It came back on at night. Though next day the water was gone again. So if you’re planning a trip, just be mindful of the possibility of not having running water.」

「I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place on the beautiful Fall River. Conveniently located near Rocky Mtn Ntl Park and Estes Park, Castle Mountain Lodge is the perfect stay. We rented a room, but hope to come back and rent a cabin with our whole family. The staff is delightful and helpful, and the entire place is beautiful, well kept, and we just can’t wait to return next summer!」

「The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic」

「We've come back to this lodge a couple of times and are never disappointed! The staff is incredible and the rooms are cozy/well kept. We booked the Ponderosa room and it felt basically like a little private studio. The hot tub was really nice after a long day out exploring Estes. Will be returning!」
