Das Personal war super freundlich - sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant! Es standen gleich neben dem Empfang Getränke, Süßigkeiten und Zeitungen bereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich aber recht klein - für den Preis allerdings angemessen. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Rauchmelder müsste nur mal überprüft werden; dah nicht ganz funktionstüchtig aus! Am Frühstücksbuffet fehlte es an nichts - ich hätte mir nur eine Milchalternative (Soja, Mandel) gewünscht. Ansonsten alles fein!

Good for a one night stay but given condition - we had a very aged room - too expensive. There aren’t even lifts too all room. Hotel setup like a maze so had to wonder through corridors.

Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen tollen Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind nach älteren Standards eingerichtet, aber sehr sauber. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit prima Ausblick. Es gibt pro Bett eine Zudecke, es gibt pro Person ein Hand- und ein Duschhandtuch, die Handtücher waren dick und flauschig, die Zimmer sind groß genug ( auch mit Zustellbett), das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr gut, das Personal sehr, sehr nett. Es hat uns sehr gut im Hotel zur Post gefallen.

Das Hotel zur Post befindet sich in einem neuen Gebäude hinter dem auf dem Bild in Expedia gezeigten Restaurant. Es verfügt über moderne Zimmer mit allem Komfort. Wir waren in jeder Hinsicht begeistert. Das sehr freundliche Team hat uns auf kostenlose Kaffee- und Teemöglichkeiten in der Lobby hingewiesen, dort steht auch ein kostenlose Auswahl an Süßigkeiten und Gebäck. Weil wir zu dritt mit Kind angereist sind, bekamen wir ein ebenfalls völlig kostenloses Update auf eine Art "Junior Suite". Klasse und Vielen Dank. In Summe war der Aufenthalt ein absoluter Preis-/Leistungsknaller.

We booked a room for 3 persons, we got a double room, the 3rd person had to sleep on an uncomfortable, outdated foldable bed. The room was clean. The shower gives a lot of water which is not environment friendly. Breakfast was not filled regularly, so you had to take what was left at 9.30h. Overall, for us too expensive for what we got.

Ordentliches Hotel in ländlicher Gegend

Das Hotel ist in Wiehl zentral gelegen. Wir fanden auf dem Hof gute Parkmöglichkeiten vot. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Preis inbegriffen war ein Gratisgetränk. Das Frühstück war guter Standard.

Aanvankelijk teleurstelling,omdat hethotel geen bevestiging van de boeking had ontvangen.Mogelijk had dat met internetprobleem van het hotel te maken.Nu was er gelukkig toch nog plaats,maar stel dat het volgezeten had.Welke rechten had ik dan met mijn boekingsbevestiging?.Aanvankelijk kreeg ik bevestiging voor boeking 15 tot 16 juli en ik had toch echt 25 juni ingevuld,maar gelukkig kon dat gewijZigd worden.Ook in automatisering zijn fouten mogelijk.Het verblijf in het hotel,het eten en de omgeving was prima

Zu teuer für den Standard

Das Hotel Zur Post ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat den Eindruck, dass es nur noch abgewickelt wird. Investitionen scheinen nicht mehr getätigt zu werden. Die Balkons sind mit Holzlatten gesperrt, was den Eindruck eines Hotels kurz vor der Schließung noch verstärkt. Im Bad hängt der Duschkopf lose aus der Wand und die Dichtungen haben auch ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Kacheln sind gesprungen. Die ehemalige Minibar ist ein im ZImmer frei stehender kleiner Kühlschrank, der nicht am Stromnetz hängt. Das Buffet im Frühstücksraum ist recht lieblos aufgebaut. Das Hotelrestaurant ist auch aufgegeben worden. Das Personal besteht hauptsächlich aus Hilfkräften, was auch betont wird. Immerhin sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber. Ein DZ-Preis von knapp 100 EUR ist eindeutig zu hoch.
