「We took the Amtrak from Portland, OR, to this lovely town for Spring Break the last week of March. The free SNOW bus was still running so there was no need for a rental car to get around town or up to the slopes. (Whitefish is an excellent place for first time skiers and snowboarders since they have cheap lessons, rentals, and optional lower lifts for beginners.) This VRBO property was exactly as advertised! 「We really enjoyed our stay at Hiker's Rest. The location is convenient to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and it is located in a beautiful forest. Property has all the expected amenities. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars in all categories is that the check-in instructions through VRBO had incorrect information about the wifi. A quick check with the owners straightened that out. There is a white book with all sorts of instructions in the house, but that also wasn't mentioned...
