"SCAM ALERT!!! I’ve used VRBO for years and usually give 4–5 star reviews. This was a total bait and switch. We clearly stated we were renting their *house* to host Thanksgiving. Over a month before arrival I asked for dining room photos and house size; they claimed it was “quite large,” fit 16, and perfect for family dinners but did not have photos of the dining room but they said I can move the kitchen chairs into the dining room to increase guest seating. They never disclosed it was actually an upstairs apartment (not a house as listed) up a very steep exterior staircase (so steep that my 96 year old mother cold not navigate) and, worst, there was **no dining room**. The kitchen was tiny, the table blocked the entrance (a safety hazard), and the fridge could barely open, you would have to stand flat against the wall to open it slightly. For a “16 guest” listing, there were only three forks and four dinner plates. Their dishwasher was a micro dishwasher and the plates did not fit. The bathroom sink was clogged, there were roaches, no towels, the Wi‑Fi code was wrong, and the washer/dryer was around the side of the house and down more stairs in the basement, not in‑unit. When I complained, they offered only a 50% refund to cancel on Thanksgiving weekend. They did nothing about the clogged sink or lack of supplies. Avoid this property and this management company at all costs."
