"We stayed here one night and found the renovated hotel comfortable and tidy. The front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. We found the room clean, the sheets fresh, the bathroom spotless, and the AC worked great on this 95 degree day. The beds were VERY comfortable. When we discovered a light bulb burned out of one of the lamps, the clerk immediately saw to it that it was replaced. There is no breakfast or elevator, which was fine for us since we just needed a safe, affordable place to sleep. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"It was a birthday day trip with just my wife and I on a Wednesday . One day, in and out for a two story cabin rental made for a family with children. Most impressive is the communication between me and the host. Questions and comments were answered almost instantly but even in the cabin things are labeled and explained. There are hardwood floors, so no hardsole shoes allowed inside, but walking around in socks made it all the more comfortable. The hot tub was terrific. Use it! The place is right off the Missouri (?) river. It had rained for several days before our visit. If you get tired of watching TV, you can watch the river. Watching the floating wood debris going by the cabin was very interesting. No complaints. Book it if you can."

"Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not all..the people upstairs sounds like they are in same room. Stone and concrete floors are hard on feet but keep the place cool. 90+ degree days it was a welcoming reprieve. I would definitely rent again when in area."
