To the exterior is a small garden with lawn, patio are and seating, as well as ample off-road parking. Rails End is the perfect base to return to after an adventure on the moors.

Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. It is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
