There is also a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC; the property sleeps 5 in total. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting area. Outside, there is an undercover parking space. Flying Scotsman @ Engine Shed is a superb base for exploring this wonderful town.

Take a trip to the picturesque harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set or get involved in some whale watching or a coastal cruise to watch the creatures up close. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey to immerse yourself with history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum presenting historical and ethnographic exhibition about Cook himself.
