Peaceful

Great place to stay for peace and relaxing. Can take the trail right down to the lake to a little beach area So peaceful The cabin was clean and literally had everything you need. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ann and randy for renting us your cabin.

We enjoyed our time here. Loved it and plan to be back. Clean is understatement and being steps away from lake was a blessing. We for sure will be back and our adult kids already planning a trip too. Great place to rent both cabins.

Amazing water front cabin

This property was everything as described. The owners were amazing to work with. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked with anything you could need. Loved the water front access. I will definitely rent again when I need a place to stay in this area.

Super clean large cabin

We were pleasantly surprised that our cabin was much bigger than expected and spotlessly clean. The short path to the lake and the nearby marinas gave us plenty of opportunities for fishing, swimming and relaxing. We hated to go home!

Perfect gem for a family getaway we will be back !

The property is way better then the pictures and description. It came with everything you could possibly need in every room of the cabin and having the laundry room with 3 little boys made the trip even better . Randy and ann were very responsive and helped us in anyway they could our stay was amazing from the cabin to the lake. My boys and fiance caught huge amazing fish including blue catfish and alligator gar (weve never caught before) so for us it was great for fishing exactly what we were looking for . This is a needle in a haystack kind of rental and I hope to return as soon as possible !

They did it again!!

This is our second stay in three months and it didn't disappoint. Those of you worrying about covid please don't, Ann goes above and beyond and I know what to look for as I cleaned houses when I was younger. Everything is in order and spotless. Very impressed. The Trees are nice by the lake to hang hammocks and relax in between fishing and swimming. We will be back. 👍

A last minute find

Had a fishing tournament on Kentucky Lake and needed a place to stay from April 26 - May 1. for four fisherman with two trucks and boats. We thought we had reservations somewhere else but found out three days before that we didn't. There were several things going on in the Paris Tn. area this same weekend and most everything was booked up. We found this cabin on the VRBO web site and were very pleased with everything, and the price was very reasonable. Lot's of space with a kitchen, washer and dryer, plenty of sitting room. The only thing was the parking for two large trucks and boats were tight but we were able to work it out. There is a very nice boat ramp just around the corner, easy to get in and out with your boats. Thanks for the stay

It's the view that you cant see that is the best!

Ok, the best part of this cabin is the short walk down a slight hill to a PRIVATE beach that is picturesque! I met Ann, she was very nice! The cabin, well it was just as described in the add. All appliances looked new to 2 yrs old at most. The bathroom was odd, nothing wrong, just cave like,(dark) smaller than usual shower, but fully functional, central air was cold, fully stocked with sheets, towels, and washcloths! Enough dishes and room for all your friends to have a nice dinner. Cell phone services are very limited to text and calling only, any thing else is pretty much non existent. The Dish TV was just fine, plenty of viewing pleasures. Lots of spiders outside, and was told by a neighbor to look out for rattlers and copperheads in woods, we didn't see any, thank God! The only thing I can say to improve the place is it needs a dishwasher and a gas grill, they have an old charcoal grill that is past its prime, gas grill is simple! Never ran out of hot water, even 3 people showering back to back! Easy to find just plug address in the GPS and go! If I ever had to stay in this area again I would definately stay here again! I give my whole experience here in this cabin an 8 out of 10 stars!

Pleasantly Surprised!

First of all the communication with the owner was easy. Randy and Ann were very responsive and friendly-great customer service. The home was very accommodating; plenty of pots and pans for cooking, silverware, utensils, small appliances, clothes washer & dryer, paper products, 2 beach chairs, grill(we didn't have the opportunity to use), comfortable beds with linens, bathroom with plenty of towels, everything you need (except your own toiletries-expected). The living room chairs were comfortable, cable/satellite tv was great, kitchen was well supplied (even coffee, but we brought our own), bottled water upon our arrival(which we restocked before leaving), the whole house was clean. The best part was the river/lake. It is beautiful!!!! It's a pleasant, short (2 minute) walk down the path through the woods, to the shoreline. The weather was nice enough that we walked it every day that we were there. The view is awesome. Our stay was so relaxing. We needed a place to stay while visiting my daughter and granddaughter. It turned out to be a short 2 miles to where they live. And my granddaughter was able to spend the night with us. We plan on staying at this vacation home again. Another plus is that our dog had a blast running by the water and through the woods. I'm glad we were able to bring her. The description and pictures of the home in the listing are accurate. Being in a wooded area, I expected some kind of bugs - absolutely none. The only restaurant that we got to try out was a little burger place in Paris (about a 20 minute drive). We did most of our meals cooking at the house. We also went to the movies there one day. My daughter's boyfriend wound up in the hospital due to an illness for a few days while we were there. Because we had a good place to stay during this time, it made it a little less stressful for all of us and we were close by to help my daughter. I've already recommended this property to friends and family. Randy & Ann, thank you so much for welcoming us into your vacation home. We'll be back.

Cabin on the lake

It was great. The property is located on Kentucky Lake. The way it is situated on the point it is a very private setting. Very clean, the washer and dryer are really convenient. Nice patio to set on at night and look at the stars and listen to nature. We'll be going back !!

High School Championship Fishing Tournament

My husband and sons stayed in the cabin. It was clean, tidy, and had every they needed for a week of fishing. There was room for the truck and trailer with electrical nearby to charge the boat each night.
