「A very nice comfortable stay in a well appointed room. Wonderful views across the bay, and a very welcoming proprietor. A delicious breakfast as well.」

「First the plusses: incredibly friendly and helpful host, delicious cooked-to-order breakfast (included), with homemade bread, beautiful and bucolic setting on an active farm about 2 miles outside Kenmare - loved the sheep sounds. Minuses: it was the middle of a heatwave, lots of flies and no AC/fan. There were water/toilet flushing issues. And there should be a note in the listing that payment is cash only! The place desperately needs some updating - as long as your expectations are not high,...

「Hotel staff kindly took me to a separate room. The area around the hotel may not be popular tourist spot, but Baltimore Beacon is worth for visit. Seafood dinner at the hotel restaurant is highly recommended. 」

This hotel has been run by the same family since the 1930s and their dedication to hospitality shines through. The food in the restaurant is extraordinary and is prepared with love. You will enjoy the grounds, the bar, the sitting room and everything about Gougane Barra.」

「町の中心にあるホテルで、一階パブのカウンターで受け付けします。部屋は清潔で広々としていて快適、ライブ演奏の音もそれほど気になりませんでした。駐車場無料とありますが道の両脇の空いたスペースに路上駐車です。」

「部屋は広く落ち着ける感じでした。、ベッドはダブルベッドでしたが、十分な広さででした。アメニティもホテルのエステサロンで使用しているものが置いてあったようです。ホテルの目の前は、湖？でレストランの前は川が流れ、遊歩道もありました。自然の中にいる感じで、とても癒される空間でした。キラーニー国立公園にも近く、観光にも便利な場所でした。ロビーの暖炉の上には大きなヘラジカが飾ってあり、特別な空間に来たことを感じさせるとともに、居心地の良い空間でした。ギネスを飲んだ時に出されたつまみには、おかきがあり、とてもおいしかったです。」
