Get your reservations now before racing/lake fun begins. Situated between Pomme De Terre and Truman lakes. Awesome little spot for family fun.

Cozy country home

This lil red house was very cozy, clean and good location. Beds were comfy. We felt right at home. Gas station/store across the street. Great coffee truck also across the street. Would stay again with this host. Thank you Alexis.

Nice place, dated and needs more AC, but well maintained & great host!

We enjoyed our stay overall. This was close to multiple boat ramps for daily fishing, which was our goal for the trip. House was nice enough & well maintained but dated. The beds were both very uncomfortable. 1 was hard & the other was foam & really soft but sloped to the middle which was challenging for 2 adults on the bed. Lots of closet space & the house wasn’t cluttered with decor so had room to store all of our stuff out of the way. Attached garage had great amenities like a grill, kiddie pool, etc. Laundry is in the garage & there is a very steep step up & down. Loved that they had a doggy door into the garage. NO WI-FI & I swear when I booked this it said WiFi, but after I messaged host the listing didn’t say WiFi. No ability to stream music/movies so our kid was bummed & any phone searching for dining or directions was real slow because only 1 bar for ATT. Host was fabulous! Quick to reply & very proactive & kind. We had limited options to house 4 adults needing 2 bedrooms, but this worked for our 2 night, 3 day stay. No central air, had 1 window unit in living room only, so very hot in the bedrooms at night & one adult slept in the recliner as a result. Lots of fans but in the summer that just blew the hot air around. We stayed in the living room anytime we were home. Loved the nicely shaded front yard, especially having a dog & we travelled with 2 boats, so ample parking next to the house! Sat night races extremely loud at this house, couldn’t be outside during.

Nice little place in Wheatland close to the track. Very convenient if in town for the races as we were. Super quick and easy to get to and from. Owner was super easy to communicate with and great to work with. Everything we needed was already in the house.

We enjoyed staying in this house, it was close to the race track and worked well for our family. The tenants were awesome with communication and we look forward to staying again!
