"We've stayed here before so knew it was basic and roomy. The old curtains have been replaced and it was pretty clean. Linens were comfortable. The space heater was dated but worked. It definitely has a motel vibe, and the kitchenette is small, but there were some decorating touches that really added to the hobbit feel. "Great new build hotel. Book the lakeside view otherwise you'll be looking over a shopping park and pharmacy. Staff were great and room lovely and clean. The only downside was that the staff didn't seem to have a staff room so do their work and their phone calls on sofa chairs outside the lift - which was a bit odd and disconcerting"
